Why didn't I think of this?!
erfect! We got our tree 2 weeks earlier than normal this year. Without this, our tree would have been naked and needleless by Christmas. This genius little item made keeping water in the tree a no brainer.

Works extremely Well
One extra benefit of this product is that I don't have to crawl under the Christmas tree to fill the tree stand anymore. It is much easier to fill the box instead!

A must have if you put your tree up around Thanksgiving!
This is a great idea. The "gift box" is made similarly to the collapsible storage totes you can buy at any of the big box stores. This has a lid and is lined with a plastic material kind of like a zip-lock bag. There is a tube connected to the bottom of one side that you place in your tree stand water bowl. I would not recommend it for a tree stand that has a shallow water bowl. You can only fill this box to the same height as the max fill line in your tree stand or it will overflow. Directions are easy to follow. I would also recommend that you test before you use each year, as I would like only expect this to work for a few years years if you took good care of it. I tested ours before we bought a tree and it worked great. Now, hopefully, the cat or dog doesn't chew on the hose... ??

Suggestions
I noticed a couple of comments about this not working perfectly for other folks. I offer a few observations. 1) This does not immediately work like you think it should — when you add water it takes at least 10 mins for the water to equalize between the water level in the tree and the water level in the box. 2) When using it for the first time, you do need to lift the box up at least 12 inches off the ground to “start” it. You can tell it worked when you hear air bubbles come out of the end of hose in the tree water. There should be no air in the hose if you’ve done it correctly. 3) It is hard to mark off the water level in the box — I simply used some masking tape on the box on the other side of the plastic.

My tree was so well watered it started to get new growth!
This was amazing! We had our tree up seven weeks and it started to grow as you can see in my photos!! There’s even a little pine cone! There was even still a fresh smell and very few needles came off. It’s still so beautiful I have it on my deck. I love this system!

Follow the DIRECTIONS!!!
I’m someone that usually just throws the directions aside and am usually am alright, not with this, YOU MUST READ and follow the directions. Once I did the product is sure fire time saver. You can travel for days and not have to worry about your tree drying out. THE THING WORKS as long as you follow the directions!

it is cute and the design is smart. had to check on it throughout the day to make sure it was actually watering the tree. overall happy with it and excited to use in upcoming years.

Must Have
I’ve had this hooked up for 2 weeks works great. This is a must have if your going to have a real Christmas tree. The reviews where people talk about not being able to get it to work must not have any common sense.
