Works great and it's fun.
I bought this tool to pull up the thistles in my yard. While it doesn't always pull up the whole root, it usually gets some and slows the plants down. I carry a screwdriver and a bucket with me as I use this tool to scrape the plant into the bucket with the screwdriver so I don't get pricked by the thistles. It also helps keep my hands cleaner. The metal and wood are well made and very sturdy.

It's nice, not 100 percent effective
So I like this, I really do, but it doesn't always pull out the whole root system. Most times it only gets about 50% but it's still way easier on your body to use this. and you don't have to spray your lawn with harsh chemical.

The easiest dandelion removal tool ever
This thing is so simple yet so effective. It's inexpensive. I have had 4 back surgeries and cannot get down to remove weeds. I spray my front lawn but we have 5 dogs so I don't use chemicals in the back yard. I am able to remove dozens of weeds without crouching, bending, crawling, digging. Even with my back problems, this tool is so simple and effective to use. Takes 5 seconds to remove a dandelion. The weirdest part......... it's really fun! I actually go hunting for them. Fun to see how big of a weed and root this thing will pull up. I would recommend this to anyone. Kids can use it and seniors can too. I had a party and likened it to that image in Tom Sawyer where he's painting the fence and convinces his friends that it's fun so they do it for him. I showed this to my friends and they went wild on my back yard and went weed hunting. Affordable, simple, effective and fun. Buy this
